...I would argue that it is sometimes the pain in things that make you appreciate them the most... it is my unconditional willingness to endure the middle-of-the-night feedings, the cleaning up of vomit, the screaming for no good reason, etc that makes me realize how much I love my child and love raising him...

Exorsist Regurgitation

The baby has had a cough for the past couple weeks. Last weekend I fed him a bottle and then sat him up and was just kind of talking to him when all the sudden he coughed a couple times and the milk just started POURING out of his mouth and nose. Some would come out and it would stop for a second, just long enough for him to try to take a breath and cough again for more to come pouring out.
I was soaked. He was soaked. We took a bath together and then I decided to give him another bottle since it hadn’t happened due to stomach upset, it was just like he gagged and it all came up. He kept that one down just fine. Bizarre.
