...I would argue that it is sometimes the pain in things that make you appreciate them the most... it is my unconditional willingness to endure the middle-of-the-night feedings, the cleaning up of vomit, the screaming for no good reason, etc that makes me realize how much I love my child and love raising him...

Wet Baby + Smooth Bath Tub = Big Slippery Trouble

Like you aren’t paranoid enough of the water being too hot or baby inhaling water as you are rinsing their hair, the baby slips all over the place in the tub like they are on ice. We used one of those big sponge things that they have for you to lay them on in the bath or sink- it was a thinner version and laid it in the contoured infant side of the tub. It was comfy and less slippy for him. They also, of course have those little stick-um things that you can adhere to the bottom of the tub but those always seemed like they would be disturbing if not uncomfortable to sit on to me. Whatever floats your boat (ha ha, get it!).
