...I would argue that it is sometimes the pain in things that make you appreciate them the most... it is my unconditional willingness to endure the middle-of-the-night feedings, the cleaning up of vomit, the screaming for no good reason, etc that makes me realize how much I love my child and love raising him...

Good Older Baby Toys (Sitting to Walking)

The actual attached toys are just examples. Usually what we have but just to give you an idea of what I'm talking about.
Walker with an activity center on one side- before they are standing and working on walking they can sit in front of it and play with the activities. Then as they move toward walking they can start practicing by standing and walking behind it. (That is not my baby.)

Driver Toy- I have to be specific with this one because it has been a favorite. It is so small but there is so much to do with it that it has been great. Even before he could sit, we could prop him up on his tummy in front of it and he would play with it a bit. Even now, he still crawls up to it and manipulates the steering wheel and gear shift. It has lights and sounds and is VERY engaging.
Dino Baby Go Poppity Toy- balls pop around and roll out of dino’s mouth. Also plays music while they pop around. The movement was really stimulating and kept the baby’s attention! (not my baby below either)
Tunnel- we found a kids tent with a tunnel that could attach to the door. We just use the tunnel. He LOVES crawling through it over and over again. We also roll balls through it and he gets a kick out of that.
Kids Remote- we figured he loved ours so we got him one of his own. This was a hit.

Fridge Magnet Toy- I have several friends that have RAVED about these. We haven’t used them yet but there are some in my baby’s imminent future.
Stacking toys- good on so many levels… get it, levels.. (still not my baby down there)

Sensory Balls- still a fave for many reasons. The usefulness of these changes as his needs and playing change. (glad there isn't a confusing baby in this picture)

Piggy Bank- sings and counts the coins. He loves putting the coins in and then opening the door and pulling them out again. Also is good to teach colors.
Pretty much anything to pound or drum- maybe actual musical instruments, maybe just a box and a spoon. We got a light up drum with letters.
